Obama and The anti-Israel Sludge oozing from the White House Administration

Oil sludge pit
Lies and Propaganda - White House sludge pit

The "Shot heard 'round the world" is a phrase that has come to represent several historical incidents. The line is originally from the opening stanza of Ralph Waldo Emerson's "Concord Hymn" (1837), and referred to the beginning of the American Revolutionary War. This 1775 proverbial first shot was fired during an armed stand-off between British forces and local militia in Lexington, escalating into engagements at the Old North Bridge in the battles of Lexington and Concord.

Yes, most folks have either heard of and/or used the phrase "shot heard round the world".  Today, I would like to speak on the latest White House anti-Israel "comment heard round the world", spoken by Panetta to Israel - "Get to the damn table".  Just about every newspaper and blogger have printed Panetta's comments within the last 48 hours and since Panetta speaks for President Obama and his administration, Panetta's harsh words towards an American ally is just one more example of the ongoing and nasty, anti-Israel propaganda (and lies) that ooze from the sickening agenda of this administration and heard round the world.

The Arab world and all enemies of America and Israel must be clapping their hands in glee, while Panetta and the White House continue their open animosity towards Israel and its leaders.  The picture they continue to  paint since Obama took Offices is as pretty as an oil sludge and as dangerous to the United States foreign policies as the sludge of oil is to the environment - worse, as the very lives of Israelis are pitted against her neighboring enemies, thanks to the open "mics" publicly published in the media of a President and his men/women who complain about "having to deal with PM Netanyahu".

Mr. Obama, your antagonism towards Israel has not gone unnoticed - not by Americans and not by our enemies.

Mr. Panetta, you owe Israel an apology - immediately!  Just who do you think you are speaking to?  Israel is a sovereign nation - not a two year old who needs a public lashing, which is simply more propaganda from this administration, for openly blaming Israel for the refusal of the Palestinian Arabs not coming to the "table" to begin peace talks.  Israel is not to blame for the sludge of hate pouring from the Hamas Palestinians shooting rockets into the population of Israeli citizens.  Israel is not to blame for the Palestinian Authority's stubborn refusal to ignore both the Untied States and Israel's requests that the PA negotiate peace at the "table" and not by requesting "statehood" through the body of the United Nations.  Blaming Israel for the actions of the Palestinians is nothing more then another bold face lie - and those lies are sinking America into a pit of sludge - sludge that is sucking the very breath out of America and her allies.

There are many great writers speaking on the subject and here's one from the Weekly Standard:

Blaming Israel First

In his capacity as chairman of the Emergency Committee of Israel, Bill Kristol released the following statement today in response to Ambassador Howard Gutman’s remarks at a conference in Europe and Leon Panetta’s comments in Washington:

“Nobody believes President Obama when he claims, as he did last week, that he ‘has done more for the security of the state of Israel than any previous administration.’ That’s because he hasn’t — and because President Obama and his administration keeps acting to weaken the security of the state of Israel.
“For example: as reported in the Israeli press, the U.S. ambassador to Belgium, Howard Gutman — a top Obama fundraiser in 2008 — told a conference in Brussels this week that Muslim anti-Semitism ‘stems from the ongoing conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.’ Pardon us for retaining our belief that Muslim anti-Semitism in the Middle East predates 1967, and even 1948 — and in any case is the fault of the anti-Semites, not of the Jews.
“At another conference, this one in Washington, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta surveyed the Middle East and discovered that at every turn, the Jewish state is to blame for problems in the Muslim world. Are there Arab uprisings that are bringing Islamists to power and endangering peace with Israel? Israel must placate the radicals. Are there constant provocations and taunts from Turkey’s Islamist government? Israel must beg for better treatment. Do Palestinians refuse to negotiate? ‘Get to the damn table,’ Panetta thundered twice — as if Israel was refusing to talk, instead of the reverse.
“Just about the only thing in the Middle East that President Obama hasn’t blamed Israel for is the Iranian nuclear program. But when it comes to this, too, instead of supporting crippling sanctions or preparing military strikes, the White House seems to spend more time deterring Israel from acting than deterring Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons in the first place. And the administration’s energy seems more focused on undermining Israel and those members of Congress pushing for a tougher approach to Iran, than in undermining the Iranian regime.
“The Obama message is loud and clear: the world would be a safer, simpler, and more peaceful place if not for the troublesome Jewish state.  “Ambassador Gutman’s comments were not way out of line with Obama’s worldview. Nonetheless, we expect he will be recalled because the Obama administration won’t want to expend political capital defending him. He should be recalled, of course. But what the events of recent days emphasize is that the problem is not with one ambassador or with one cabinet secretary. The problem is President Obama.”
